Streetcar Brewing: 123A 1st St E
Although Streetcar is one of the closest breweries to the seabus, you may not have ever realized it was there - Tucked away off Lonsale on 1st street, the only indication of a brewery is an inconspicuous door between two storefronts that leads downstairs to a very cool brewery with a laid back alleyway patio space. Inspired by our neighborhood’s deep history, Streetcar combines traditional brewing staples with contemporary flavors. They feature a wide range of beers range from classic to experimental, so no matter what you like to drink, they will be able to satisfy.
House of Funk Brewing: 350 Esplanade E #101
“Created to challenge the status quo”
The name says it all - House of Funk embraces the ‘funky’ side of beer. Their small batch system allows them to push the boundaries of beer and experiment with unique, complex flavours, including some that you’ve definitely never tried before, such as rosemary and thyme. House of Funk’s hip taproom invites beer lovers to explore their barrel-aged creations of sours, IPA’s, Lagers, Stouts and much more.
