Frankie & Co.: Your Local One-Stop Party Shop

If you’ve ever cruised down Lonsdale, chances are you’ve seen a colourful display outside the doors of local one-stop party shop, Frankie & Co. From a rainbow assortment of balloons to greeting cards and candy, there’s a lot to love about this little slice of heaven. We recently caught up with sister duo Jen & Lisa to fill us in on all the shop has to offer.

Can you tell us about Frankie & Co.?

We started off as just a candy store years ago and with this new store, party decor and balloons fit in so well with what we were already doing, it just made sense–and since there was nothing like what we are doing in the area, voila! Frankie & Co came to life. Now balloons have taken over our world and we are so thrilled to be doing something we love.

Why did you start your business?

We are celebration enthusiasts and love to throw confetti at life’s everyday special moments. Seeing our customers smile at what we create for them brings us so much happiness and pushes us to see what we can do next.

What is something the community may not know?

People always ask if we are “Frankie”, and technically yes we are, but the shop is named after our Dad, Frankie Freddie Charlies Karls Caruk. Now say that 10 times fast!
