Lower Lonsdale’s Newest Eats
Ahh, Lolo! Our bustling neighbourhood here on the North Shore just happens to be a foodie's paradise.
With picturesque waterfront views, a lively atmosphere, a diverse community of rich cultures, it’s no wonder we are constantly seeing new restaurants in the area. From casual eateries to upscale dining spots, there is something for everyone in this vibrant hub!
There are a few new restaurants in the Lower Lonsdale Culinary Scene, so we wanted to share a few that are new in town:
Sempre Uno
Sempre Uno, (Forever 1), is located on one of the most historic corners in North Vancouver at 1 Lonsdale Ave. Focusing on regional Italian fusion, their menu is designed to bring tastes that will accentuate the palate. The motto at Sempre Uno is “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy dessert and that’s kind of the same thing”. There is live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, bringing ambience to the experience! Book your table this weekend here.
Krave Kulture Yogurt is an organic frozen yogurt and Kefir shop that just joined the list of vendors in the Lonsdale Quay market space! Krave Kulture’s Fresh yogurt is entirely made by hand using high-quality ingredients and products, taking over 24 hours to make! There are a variety of craft frozen yogurt bowls, smoothies and kefirs like Piña Colada, Blue Flower Lemonade and Mango Matcha! This yogurt shop has yet to release an exact opening date but in the meantime visit the original location at 3151 Edgemont Boulevard. Stay tuned on their Instagram!
The Catch 122 Cafe Bistro is finally on the North Shore! After 10 years on Hastings, the restaurant has moved to our neck of the woods at the beautiful Lower Lonsdale shipyard district in North Vancouver! This spot serves brunch, pastries, happy hour and (coming soon) a delicious dinner menu coming down the pipeline. Located at 128 Carrie Cates Ct, Catch 122 is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and weekends from 9 am to 5 pm. Are you an aspiring pianist?
